Offering a huge variety of music across seven main stages with large camping areas, as well as other attractions, including a large funfair, comedy tent, silent disco, stalls, and food markets.

The sixteenth T in the Park will be back at Balado in 2009 on Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July.

Expect a line-up of around 180 artists to play over 11 stages. The many acts confirmed so far include headliners Kings of Leon, The Killers, Blur, Snow Patrol, along with The Specials, Doves, Idlewild, Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, The Streets, Manic Street Preachers, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Katy Perry, Razorlight, Elbow, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Pendulum, Peter Doherty, White Lies, and more. Tickets for T in the Park 2009 were priced as follows:

A full weekend ticket (including Fri arena access) £170 - SOLD OUT
A full weekend with Thursday camping (Thurs - Sun) £180 - SOLD OUT
Friday day tickets £60 - SOLD OUT.
Sunday Day Tickets (No Camping) £72.50
Saturday and Sunday Combined Ticket (No Camping) £145 - SOLD OUT
Parking tickets which must be bought in advance £17.50
Campervan ticket £100
Lockers (with phone chargers) £15

The campsite opens on Thursday 9th July which means you can take advantage of an extra day of festival fun with a Thursday camping ticket, which includes entertainment including the campsite cinema screen, and the fairground.

The only tickets which are still available are tipi options, and the coach combined tickets. For the first time this year weekend day visitors can come to the Friday of the festival, but only provided that they buy a weekend coach ticket (no camping). The new three day ticket includes day access on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and three return Citylink journeys.

There are coaches running to the festival from direct routes from the following 32 locations across Scotland: Aberdeen, Alloa, Airdrie, Aviemore, Ayr, Armadale, Bathgate, Blackburn, Broxburn, Cowdenbeath, Cupar, Dundee, Dunfermline, East Kilbride, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, Glenrothes, Greenock, Hamilton, Inverness, Kelty, Kilmarnock, Kirkcaldy, Livingston, Motherwell, Paisley, Perth, Pitlochry, St Andrews, Stirling and Whitburn.
