Two Thousand Trees Festival takes place at Upcote Farm, Withington, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th July. This is your chance to go to Two Thousand Trees which is a family-friendly festival which tries to raise awareness of green issues and aims to be an ethical alternative to the more mainstream music events. There is a wide selection of music at the festival including something for every taste - from rock, folk, indie, metal, hip-hop, ska, country, blues and dance DJs. The line-up will include over 50 bands including the main stage headliners for Art Brut (Saturday) and Reuben (Friday). They will be joined by very special guests (to be announced shortly) plus Frank Turner, Future of the Left, Imperial Leisure, The Anomalies, In Case of Fire, the King Blues, Ghost of a Thousand and many many more. The organisers promote various ways for festival-goers to become greener, such as a car sharing scheme, recycling stations and promoting a range of green charities and organisations in the hope the festival will inspire people to make small changes to their lifestyles and help reduce Britain’s carbon footprint. 'Early bird' tickets have sold out. Tickets are now on sale at full price. An adult weekend ticket is priced at £39, youth tickets (10-15yrs) are £20 and Under 10's get in for free. Early entry permit (from 4pm Thursday July 10th) - £4, a joint ticket with the Y-Not festival is offered at the price of £55 and a coach travel ticket (Return ticket: London – 2000trees) is £40.
