The Mushroom: will host DJs and will include a DJ set from Charlatans Jon Brookes. Expect music to include funk, northern soul, breaks, rock, and funky electro house music with a few surprises thrown in for luck. There will also be the Undertone Ruta Tent, featuring DJs & Art Display, Funk, Dubstep, Roots Reggae, Jungle & Drum and Bass.

The Psychedelic Breakfast Crew will also be there, they have been part of the dance party scene for a number of years now and endeavours to provide a unique setting for all to have a good time, kick back and relax and have a damn good boogie. Throughout the festival the Psychedelic Breakfast crew will be providing a colourful, comfy area to sit, chill, enjoy a cup of tea, play games and listen to some good music with plenty of space to dance. As well as poi workshops brought to you by their hosts, Natural Born Spinners.

Throughout the day guests are invited to bring their own music (CD's, Vinyl, MP3 Players, etc) to be played by their DJ's, as well as choice tracks selected by their DJ team. This will give a truly eclectic mix of tunes where anything is possible.

On an evening it offers a mix of tunes from some of Yorkshires prime dance-scene DJs, playing a mix of Techno, Psy-trance, Breakbeat and whatever else they pull out of the bag. These include Bob Kickflip, Chemical Kev, Fuzzy Logic, Will Power, Orange Source, and Keith Fox.

Selecta reggae soundsystem with David Judah will be at Alchemy, as will SIKA studios who will be hosting an underground arts area with live graffiti shows/workshops and circus skills shows/workshop with fire shows during the evening. They will also be painting tents/automobiles and selling their canvasses/clothing at special reduced prices all for the love of Alchemy festival!

The festival will also include a bubble tent, and circus area with fire shows, jugglers, poi and many other oddities!

The site will have many works of art and sculptures for you to discover as you walk around. Festival goers can also expect stalls, tarot readers and communal fire pits, and every day will be a dress fancy day.

There will be a large children's area with masses for the kids to do! Everyday will be a dress fancy day.

The festival aims to be as green as possible and support fair trade, and hopes to have a local cider company on site selling homemade cider and mead.

More information will be here when available.
