The Fans get a chance to prove themselves by curating and choosing their favourite performers to play on half the line-up in, "The Fans Strike Back". So who knows what acts will end up playing! Expect indie, rock, and alternative acts.

All Tomorrows Parties - The Fans Strike Back will be held from Friday 8th until Sunday 10th May 2009 at Butlins Resort, Minehead, Somerset. ATP is a sponsorship free festival where the organisers and artists stay in the same accommodation as the fans.

The event will see half of the festival line-up chosen by ATP and the other half voted for by everyone that buys a ticket. In at least the first round of voting, which has now opened, no bands can be picked that have ever played a UK ATP event before.

The confirmed bands chosen by ATP are: Devo, Spiritualised, Young marble Giants performing 'Colossal Youth', Anti-pop Consortium, Sleep ( performing 'Holy Mountain', selections from 'Dopesmoker', and more), Grizzly Bear, Edan (DJ), Grails, Qui, Liam Finn, This Will Destroy You, Hush Arbors, Grouper, Nico Muhly, and Sian Alice Group.

The acts chosen by the fans are: Killing Joke, Fuck Buttons, The Mae Shi, Harvey Milk, School of Seven Bells, Beirut, Electric Wizard, M83, Marnie Stern, and Future Of The Left, Errors, Parts & Labor, Jeffrey Lewis & The Junkyard, Jesu, Casiotone For The Painfully Alone, Lords, !!!, and Andrew W.K. Special Solo Show.

For the line-up details, day and stage splits, as available please click here.

Continuing their tradition of mixing artistic fields; ATP have also invited Pete Fowler (most famous for his work with Super Furry Animals) to present an exhibition of his work at this event.

This year the Spoken Word Stage curated by Lydia Lunch will include performances by Lydia Lunch, Martyn Waites, Jake Arnott, Cathi Unsworth, John Tottenham, and Bibbe Hansen.

Room Only accommodation offers either double, single or bunk beds with private bathroom and TV, but no kitchen facilities or lounge, more like a hotel room. Self Catering accommodation offers private bathroom, full kitchen facilities and separate lounge area with TV. Tickets are selling fast, and Room Only accommodation is now only available in 4, and 5 berth rooms, and Self Catering accommodation is also available in 4, and 6 berths.

All tickets include a 3-day festival pass and 3 nights accommodation. Ticket includes performances starting from mid-afternoon, with around 40 acts set to play live across the weekend. There are four pubs and DJ sets through till late.

Heading south on the M5, you can follow the signposts for the A39 from junction 24. Butlins Minehead Holiday Camp is just half a mile along the seafront road from Minehead town centre.

Getting There by Train
If travelling by train, the nearest main line station to Minehead is Taunton. A bus transfer service is operated by Southern National between Taunton Station and Minehead. This service is available at an additional cost. On Mondays to Saturdays, there's approximately an hourly service, with the last bus leaving Taunton Railway Station at 10:15 pm. On Sundays and Bank Holidays services run every 2 hours from 9:35 am - 9:35 pm. For general information call Southern National on 01823 272033.
