Altitude Festival '10

Altitude Festival 2010 will feature live stand-up comedy, live music, international DJ's, slopestyle competitions and more. The backdrop to the festival will be the beautiful snow-capped Alpine mountains of the 3 Valley ski resort of Meribel, Les Trois Vallees, in the French Alps, France. the week long event takes place from Saturday 20th to Friday 26th March 2010.

Newton Faulkner, The Quails, Daisy B, Gallie and Albenazawho, Russ Cuban (DJ Set), The Dub Pistols Sound System feat. Rodney P and Barry Ashworth (DJ Set), The Cuban Brothers, DJ Yoda, Bring Your Sisters, Honey Fungus, DJ Flex, DJ Rob Solari, and Barry Ashworth.

Comedy

Hosts Andrew Maxwell and Marcus Brigstocke will both appear over the course of the week. Plus comedians Al Murray, Phil Kay, Rich Hall, 4 Poofs & A Piano, Dan Antopolski, Nick Doody, Craig Campbell, Ian Coppinger, Micky Flanagan, Rufus Hound, Tony Woods, Henning Wehn, Mark Walker, Neil Delamere, Colin Murphy, Stephen Frost, and Craig Campbell.

The festival offers powder skiing and boarding by day in and entertainment by night with comedy and the cream of up-and-coming stand ups, Altitude is the first chance to check out brand new material from some of the best comedians around before they take it on to the Edinburgh Festival.

Snow sports

When not partaking all the family can check out the professionals at snowsports events such as the Jib session which attract the best pro riders from around the world. For those of a less serious disposition join in with the Wacky Races, fancy dress, three legged ski races, snowball fights and expression sessions. Fun for all the family.

With over 50 shows and events after skiing this week long comedy, music, ski and snow party is the perfect way to end a day on the hill and in this case the perfect end to the alpine ski season.
