A Tribute to Dan Lewis

This year Arcane Festival will be dedicated to Dan Lewis (a.k.a. Halfcut Art) who lost his life in a tragic accident at the beginning of June. Dan was one of the festival organisers closest friends, and was also an integral part of the festival from the outset. His legendary graffiti wall will be sympathetically continued by his friends in the DooDleDubZ art collective, with whom he had previously worked on several projects. There will be a special section of the wall where anyone who knew and loved him or his art can leave a message, picture or any other tribute.

Charity

The nominated charity for 2010 is The Art Room (theartroom.org.uk), the Oxford-based charity nominated by Dan's family to receive donations in his memory.

Public transport

The S1/S2 Stagecoach Oxford-Witney bus service stops at Eynsham Evenlode pub, from which point it's a 3 mile walk back to the festival site. It leaves from Oxford George Street stop B1.
