B'estFest '09

Now in its third year, B'estFest is the biggest multi genre music festival in Romania. Taking place at the Romexpo grounds in the capital city Bucharest from Wednesday 1st until Sunday 5th July.

B'estFest line-up includes The Killers, White Lies, Moby, Orbital, Franz Ferdinand, Santana, Motorhead, The Charlatans, Klaxons, Thievery Corporation and the Ting Tings, with more to be announced.

The day split at present is as follows:
1st of July: (Zero Day) The Killers, Thievery Corporation, Patrice, Snails
2nd of July: Moby, Motorhead, Polarkreis 18, Ayo, Les Elephants Bizarres, Grimus
3rd of July: Franz Ferdinand, Orbital, Klaxons, Gabriella Cilmi, Alternosfera, AB4
4th of July: Santana, The Charlatans, Looptroop Rockers, The Ting Tings, The Moood, Gravity Co, Persona
5th of July: Manowar, Holyhell, Trooper, Thunderstorm, Nexus, Ulytau

B'estFest has 3 stages (2 open air and one tent) and also includes a games & entertainment area, a corporate responsibility area (ONGs), food & drinks area, chill-out and lounge areas with special green and beach zones.

A three day ticket (2-4 July) is priced at 270 RON (approx £57) there are less than 1000 left, one day tickets (valid for 2, 3 or 4 July) and Aftershock tickets (valid for 5 July) will also be available, price from approx £23 to £31. To buy tickets online click here.

Bucharest has good international travel links, with rail and airline services available. There are buses or taxis available from the airports, and train stations to the Romexpo Grounds.

the festival does not have camping, and festival goers will need to find suitable accommodation within the city.
