Big Tent Festival07-01-2011Started in 2005 as a response to the G8 Summit in Gleneagles, The Big Tent has grown to become Fife's largest festival and as the flagship event for the Falkland Centre for Stewardship, has been a major force in spreading the environmental message of the Centre. The Big Tent Festival, Scotland's Environmental Festival, (and formerly Scotland's Festival of Stewardship) is held held in the grounds of Falkland Palace, Fife and is usually focused around a central theme, based on ways in which we can make a positive difference to the world. The family friendly event also celebrates all that's good about the local area with music, dance, food and drink. In 2010 The Big Tent announced its new two year development plan which meant that Big Tent took a sabbatical in 2011, returning anew in 2012. listed events:-
