The Bloodstock Indoor festival was established in 2001 as the first independent metal festival in the UK, showcasing many bands in their debut UK performances.
Bloodstock Open Air was established in 2005 to expand upon the original idea of Bloodstock Indoor whilst offering a broader spectrum of bands and bringing more diversity.
