The new home of traditional metal rock music, with exclusive performances, and three stages.

Bloodstock Open Air festival will take place from Friday 12th until Sunday 14th August at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshire. The aim is to offer a traditional metal event comparable to those regularly seen in Europe (but on a smaller scale of 6,000-10,000 capacity), and capturing the spirit of the original Monsters Of Rock shows which used to take place at Castle Donington during the 1980's and 1990's.

Motorhead are Sunday headliners, and W.A.S.P. are Friday headliner and Immortal Saturday headliner (both festival exclusives) with Rhapsody Of Fire their special guests, with Devin Townsend Project, Kreator, Napalm Death, Ihsahn, Nevermore, Morbid Angel, Exodus, Coroner, The Defiled, Skeletonwitch, Therion, Triptykon, Angelwitch, Lawnmower Deth, October File, The Rotted, and At The Gates also confirmed. Plus HammerFall, Poisonblack, Byfrost, Deadly Circus Fire, Primevil, Grave Digger, and The Sirens, with many more announced.
