The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival is a four-day, multi-stage camping festival held on a 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee, USA every June.

Bonnaroo brings together performers from the world of rock and roll, along with dozens of artists in complementary styles such as jazz, Americana, hip-hop, electronica, and just about any contemporary music you can think of.

The line-up includes Phish how will be performing on the Friday and Sunday of the festival weekend. The Friday show will be a special late night performance and the Sunday show will close out the weekend. Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band will be headlining on Saturday. Acts confirmed include Beastie Boys, Nine Inch Nails, David Byrne, Wilco, Al Green, Snoop Dogg, Elvis Costello Solo, Erykah Badu, Paul Oakenfold, Ben Harper and Relentless7, and The Mars Volta. For the acts confirmed so far, see the list at the bottom of this page.

In addition to dozens of music performance areas, the festival's 100-acre entertainment village runs around the clock with attractions and activities including a classic arcade, on-site cinema, silent disco, comedy club, theatre performers, a beer festival, and a music technology village.

Early bird tickets were on sale for a limited period priced at $224.50. Normal tickets are now on sale priced at £249. To buy tickets, click here.

Bonnaroo is committed to investing the extensive time and resources to be a leader in creating a sustainable festival. The festival has always strived to make the most sustainable choices while maintaining the ultimate experience for the fan, setting the standard in sustainability and greening practices for North American festivals. Goals for 2009 include: incorporating more renewable energy, working with vendors to source more of their food locally, exploring a solution to alleviate the number of plastic water bottles on-site, and increasing recycling and compostable materials collected on-site.

This year Bonnaroo will implement the Bottle-less Water Program. A Bonnaroo branded reusable stainless steel water bottle must be purchased, these can then be re-filled at wells, or free filtered drinking water stations at various locations.

The campsite includes a family camping area, plus showers, hand wash stations, and potable water. There is a general store will be selling sundries. Stalls selling a variety of reasonably priced foods, beverages and snacks, and pay telephones and ATM's. No fires are allowed in the campsite.
