Boogie Woogie Festival '12

The 8th UK international Boogie Woogie Festival will be held at The Club Room, Sturminster Newton British Legion, Bath Road, in Sturminster Newton, Dorset. from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th July, and was formerly the 'Fomag' Boogie Woogie festival held in nearby Fontmell Magna.

The festival encompasses acts performing the form of piano music that is boogie woogie. Performing in concert, will be internationally acclaimed boogie woogie and blues pianists from the UK and from all around the world.

Tickets

An all event ticket is priced at £55. There are also individual concert tickets available. See listing above for individual prices. Children tickets for those aged under 12 are half price.

All-Event Ticket holders receive a £15 ticket for the Stour Hall Saturday Night Concert and free entry to all workshops.

There are also workshops in boogie woogie piano, swing and tap dance, drumming, history of boogie woogie and more with special workshops for children. There will also be informal sessions for enthusiastic boogie woogie pianists with a traditional bar room setting. Plus there will be food, wine, and real ales on offer at the inn.
