A free Christian music festival that originated back in 2002 as a one-day event and has now grown into a full 3 day event that exceeded 6,000 in attendance in 2006. Creation Fest also offers a 4,000 sq ft. skate park, Bible based seminars, teaching seminars, workshops, sports and family activities and easy access to one of the UK's best surf beaches!
The music line-up already includes Lindz West as the Main Stage MC, Four Kornerz, Superhero, Manafest, CHRISTAFARI, Jahaziel, U.R. (Universal Royalty), Scott Cunningham, Spoken Groove, [dweeb], Philippa Hanna, M.O.D., Electralyte, Narrowpath, Transition, Finchley, Ekklesia, New Direction Crew, Erin Starnes, BOSH, Matt Giles, Take No Glory, and Sonz 1. The festival is open from 10am until 10pm on Friday and Saturday and until 9pm on Sunday. A Big Move Skate Contest takes place on Saturday, and pro skateboarders will be demonstrating their skills throughout the weekend (including Jud Heald, part of Untitled Skateboards skate team).
The Big Move Surf Contest 2008 will be held during this year's event on Combesgate beach, Woolacombe on Friday 1st August with registration at 10am. There is a £150 first prize, and cash prizes for finalists. £10 entry fee.
CAMPING
There's off-site camping with toilets, showers, and a free shuttle bus service to the main festival site. The cost for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) is £10 per person (6 years and older), children 5 years and under are free. Thursday and Sunday night camping is also available for an additional £5 per person per night.
CAR PARKING
Car parking at the festival is free.
