The annual Fairport Convention reunion, also known as Cropredy Festival, will take place from Thursday 13th to Saturday 15th August 2009, with Fairport Convention closing the festival on the Saturday.
This is your chance to go to Fairport's Cropredy Convention which is a family-friendly festival with great ales, no sell-out out to rampant commercialism, and no huge ticket prices. We also have two runners up prizes of the Fairport's new CD called 'Live @ Croprey '08'.
The acts for the festival have now been announced. Playing on Thursday are the headliner Steve Winwood, with Buzzcocks, Ken Nicol & Phil Cool, 4 Square, and Harlequinn.
Richard Thompson will headline the Friday which also has Seth Lakeman, The Dodge Brothers, John Jorgensen Band, Ade Edmondson and the Bad Shepherds, Megan and Joe Henwood, and Colvin-Quarmby.
Also announced is Richard Digance, Ralph McTell, Dreadzone, Feast of Fiddles, and Churchfitters, who will play at on the Saturday.
The festival runs from 4pm - 11pm Thursday, Noon - midnight Friday and Saturday. Camp sites open 9am Thursday.
'Early bird' tickets are available until Monday 1st June, priced as follows:
An adult weekend ticket £78
A weekend camping ticket £30
Adult Friday, and Saturday ticket £68
Adult Friday/Saturday camping ticket (for 14th & 15th August only) £25
Saturday only day ticket £48
Tickets for children under 12 years of age, are free. Children must be accompanied by an adult purchasing a ticket.

Closing date for receipt of entries is 9a.m. Thursday 14th May 2009. The winner's name, and the results, will be announced on this webpage soon after. The winner will also be informed via email.
