This evening of live music takes place from 7pm until midnight and will feature some of the Earthwise Festival live bands, so far including Lady Winwood's Maggot, Subgiant and State of Undress, with DJ Andy Razz and Green Elfis Leon Sea providing the links, and a chillout space with Mezzanine Dream. It promises to bring a little of the atmosphere from the summer gathering to start the festive season.
The Earthwise Winter Solstice Party is taking place partly to raise money to cover some of this year's festival losses. By all accounts, it was a great festival, according to general feedback and even for our reviewer, so it seems well-worth supporting this winter fundraising event in order to encourage the organisers to prepare for 2005!
