The line-up of acts announced includes Gil Scott-Heron, Zero 7 (DJ Set), Pama International, Zion Train, Belleruche, 3 Daft Monkeys, Louis Barabbas & The Bedlam Six, Yes Sir Boss, The Balkan Bandits, Biggles Wartime Band, John Langan, Drunken Balordi, East Park Reggae Collective, Niteworks, Kings Of Macumba, The Balkanics Band, Maghribibeat, Digital.is, Subsource, King Arthur's Men, Vid Warren, The Roseville Band, Molly Bloom, The Penny Black Remedy, and Candythief. The open-air Devorgilla Stage is to be host to some of the greatest underground bands of the last 20 years from Celtic, Roots, Tango, Reggae, Swing, Klezmer, Samba, Afrobeat, Folk, Balkan, Gypsy and Ska. The stage itself will be as impressive as the line-up it provides. The Ghillie Dhu Dance Tent will be a colourful melting pot of everything from Drum 'n' Bass to Psy-trance back to Dubstep and Breakbeat over to Electro-Swing and Electro Balkan and anything in between - there will be something to suit any fan of dance music. This stage will exhibit live percussion instrumental dance music from many cultures and influences until nightfall descends. Immerse yourself in the enticing, warm and exotic atmosphere of theFurry Chillum Mousical Boutique, exhibiting accoustic, brass, swing, ska, reggae and a heavy smattering of the bazzar. The tent's unique soundsystem will be provided by Jumblesale Sounds and hosted on the back of a stunning vintage truck.
In Ossians Trunk you can find a swirl of cabaret, cinema, open mic, burlesque or workshop treats . This area provides an attention grabbing mix of eclectic productions, transcending itself to the audience in an inspiring and original display. Situated in the symbolic, wooden structure lined, circular arena in the meadows, theBig Tams Cider Bar.... NEW this year Big Tam Francis' Cider Bar will be the Apple of Eden (Boom boom) with a plethora of mighty ciders on tap, fun games for all ages and the closest thing you can get to a Galloway barn dance. Flufffy and fun during the day... turning (apple) seedy at night..... TheVishnu Lounge RETURNS from the yester years of the Eden zone at Wickerman Festival. Expect a warm and cumfy pampering in Edens chillout palace. Drumtroddan Performance Area is an area full of games, mischeif and recreation. From performance arts to games and processions, Drumtroddan will provide involvement and participation for all ages. The Lady Bird Boutique will be on hand to entertain the festivals young crowd (and possibly a few older ones too!). From mask making to theatre and recyclable arts, the children will be brought in to engage and feel part of the festival as well as engage with other children in a safe, supervised environment, providing a bit of rest bite for tired mums and dads. It is hoped that the activities in the Shellycoat over the weekend will culminate in a procession by the children and possibly a few parents. eFestivals are giving two lucky winners the chance to win a pair of weekend tickets with camping at Eden Festival.
