A festival of reggae, soul, urban, jazz, funk, blues, hip hop, drum & bass, electronica and experimental music happening across the city of Exeter.

The Vibraphonic Festival takes place from Friday 9th until Sunday 18th March 2012. It is an annual occasion with events taking place across Exeter around twenty venues including the Exeter Phoenix, the Cavern, Barnfield, The Hub, The Globe, Timepiece, and Exeter University's Lemon Grove.

A wide variety of artists and DJs are expected and there are also workshops, demonstrations, dance performances, films and graffiti art.

16bit & Funtcase, The Magic Band, The Zen Hussies, The Hamsters, John Otway, James Taylor Quartet, Skint & Demoralised, Submotion Orchestra, Philip Clouts Trio, The Haggis Horns, Dropsteady, Benji's Reggae Bus, Billy Bottle, Hold It Down, Charity Shop Soundsystem, Roastbeatz, Madbeats, Full Melt, Rosie Varnier, DJ Spider, Thomas Ford, Liz Green, Rambunctious Social Club, Hed Rush, Dub Or Quits, Hellzapoppin', Toxic, St Patricks Quirk, Thick As Thieves, No Sleep, DJ Cheeba, Andy Kershaw, Funky Dumpty, The Monkey Suit, DJ Madbeats, Wax The Van Disco Machine, Mix Masta Mullet, Strangleberry, Hazaar, The Morrisons, Jim Causley, International Nite, Cafe Sabroso, Scandalous, and Wobble.

Tickets

Ticket prices vary depending upon event and can be bought direct from host venues and from local outlets.

Workshops

There's also a load of great workshops on offer each year, the workshops for 2012 have not yet been announced.

Events will be at the following venues: The Angel, Bikeshed Theatre, Bombay Bills, Cavern Club, Exeter Corn Exchange, Exeter Phoenix, Mama Stones, MC's Cafe Bar, Monkey Suit, Old Firehouse, The NBI, Picture House, The River Church, and Timepiece.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
