Festinho is a special small sized event taking place from Friday 31st August to Sunday 2nd September in Yarnton, Oxfordshire and raising money for the ABC Trust. This is a charity created to help support children living on the streets in Brazil.
Everyone involved in the organization and all the artists performing at the festival have donated their time for free, so as much money as possible can go straight back to the charity.
Live acts confirmed for the festival are as follows; Echaskech (Just Music), Laroca (Just Music), Beardyman (UK Beatboxing champion), Pitch Black (NZ), Babyhead (Monster Piece Productions), Lucky Elephant (Sunday Best), Lesser Panda, Baraka, Mariana Magnavita, A Silent Film, Captive State, 30 Pounds of Bone, Cinephile, Cooper's Rage, The Second Whorl, inputJunkie, Raggasaurus, Omeron, and Sunday Driver.
DJing will come from Diesler (Tru-Thoughts), Gordon Kaye, DJ Derek, Mixmaster Morris, Pete Lawrence (Chilled By Nature / Big Chill), Nostalgia 77 (Tru-Thoughts), Nick Matthews (Best Kept Secret), Dr. Rubberfunk, Matthew Burgess, Wrongtom, Hint (Tru Thoughts), Flevans (Jack 2 Phono / Tru Thoughts), Mr. Bongo (Disorient), DJ Shepdog (Freestyle Records / NICE UP!), DJ Fu, Del Gazeebo, Phantom Beats, Slide residents Simple residents, DIAL SOUND SYSTEM with Andy Newcombe (DIAL/Discobox), Toru (Vinyl Junkies/Discobox) and MC EQ (Quantic Soul Orchestra), Jason King (The Spiralist), Count Skylarkin (Skylarkin Soundsystem), Peepshow Paddy (Peepshow), DJ BarryDark (Digital City), Rema Dee & Rocko (React FM), Artheque, Johnny Clash, Mavis, Raz, and Will Power.
There will also be licensed bars, the Lo-Tek tent, the infamous Disco Shed, market
place, art workshops, kids area, healing zone, art auction, bonfire, and a chill-out
Arabian tent.
Weekend tickets are priced at £45 adults, £23 for children or £30 adult day pass and £15 child day pass. Tickets can be purchased from here.
Ticket holders will be allowed on site from 3pm on Friday, and will be required to leave the site by 9pm on Sunday.
No alcohol is to be brought on site. Bags will be searched on entry and any alcohol found will be confiscated.
