An annual celebration of folk music, song and dance taking place over the late Spring Bank Holiday weekend in the historic seaport town of Fishguard. With concerts, dance displays, meet the artist events, busking, informal music and song sessions and a real ale bar.
Some of this year's line-up has been announced: Niamh Ni Charra with Mike Galvin, Beverly Smith & Carl Jones, Ember, Nick Wyke & Beckie Driscoll, Sild, Toreth, George & Helen Adam, Mike Chant, Pat Smith & Ned Clamp, Joe Latter, and Robin Williamson. There are more acts who are still to be announced.
This small, friendly festival embraces the talents of old and young alike. On Saturday, the town square is filled with a colourful display of dance tunes, airs, jigs and reels. Other events include a family twmpath, free instrument and voice workshops, meet the artist events, busks, informal music and song sessions and a real ale bar. There will also be a guided Smugglers and Pirates walk.
