The Feeling have announced four forest gigs for this summer when they will play Delamere Forest Cheshire, Cannock Chase Forest Staffs, Westonbirt National Arboretum Glos, and Thetford Forest, Suffolk as part of The Forestry Commission’s 2007 Forest Tours.
The dates are as follows:-
Sat 16th June: Delamere Forest, Linmere, Delamere, Cheshire
Fri 22nd June: Cannock Chase Forest, Nr Rugeley, Staffs
Sat 30th June: National Arboretum, Westonbirt, Nr Tetbury, Glos
Thu 12th July: High Lodge, Thetford Forest, Nr Brandon, Suffolk
Dan Gillespie Sells of The Feeling says: “We’re really looking forward to
doing these Forest shows. Last year we played a few festivals but people
didn’t really know our songs. I’m hoping that’ll have changed this year.”
Tickets are priced at £24 for all shows - SOLD OUT.
They'll be playing on greenfield sites in clearings in the forests, with the stage specially built. Ghosts have been confirmed as special guests of The Feeling for all shows.
No glass or cans allowed.
