Award-winning Irish songstress Cara Dillon, who lives in Frome, has accepted an invitation to be Patron of the inaugural festival. Frome Folk Festival will run from 9am until 11pm both days.

Early Bird weekend tickets are priced at £58 (£48 concessions) and that will be frozen right up until the event. A family weekend ticket for two adults and 2 children (aged under 15) is priced at £190. Day tickets, are priced at £32. Camping
For those wishing to camp, there will be provision locally for tents and camper vans with Indoor camping available at the town's United Reformed Church, just a stone's throw from the festival venues. There are also numerous campsites, hotels and B&Bs in the area.The event will also feature Ceilidhs, sing-arounds, workshops, jam sessions, Morris dancing, and market stalls.
