Fuse Lichfield '12

Fuse Lichfield, organised by Lichfield Arts, takes place from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th July 2012. Now in it's 12th year the festival offers a weekend of music and arts under canvas in Beacon Park, Lichfield, Staffs.

Free festival

The FREE family community arts festival has a culturally diverse mix of events, performances and activities for all ages. The theme for 2012 is "Rhythm, Rings, Sticks & Strings."

Line-up

Main Stage

Friday: Silvanes Family Band, Alfie Romeo Band, State of Undress.

Saturday: MAS records/Neon youth showcase, Ash Mandrake, Silvanes, Wildfire Folk, Bleeding Hearts, Fat Digester.

Sunday: Ash Mandrake Mandrake, Off the Hook, Pheonix Big Band, Flamexicano .

Plus the Fuse Acoustic Stage (including an open mic session), craft activities, comedy, ukulele & kids theatre workshops, circus skills, shanty singing, the Silent Disco, the Arts Fair, Art in the Tent, food & craft stalls & a licensed bar.

Entertainment

The event offers music from national and local bands, workshops (dance, poetry, circus skills, singing, songwriting), performances (Poetry, comedy, theatre, dance, storytelling), art and craft activities. Lots of events and activities will involve dance of many types.

There's free parking nearby and the park is just a few minutes walk from the city centre, bus and rail stations.

No camping is allowed on site but there are camping and accommodation options nearby.
