Great tunes, great light show, and a huge crowd. But 'turn it up' was the common cry as the Orbital's dazzling stage glowed and resonated like a landing spacecraft. The crowd ate it up as the night sky was illuminated by the best lighting show I saw at Glastonbury '99; but the lack of volume turned what should have been a pounding, momentous experience into something that was simply good. The magnificent Orbital sounds should've fill our world. Here, they merely knocked politely.
