The Green Man Festival is holding the "Rite of Spring" spring equinox party at Baskerville Hall, Nr. Hay On Wye, Powys, Wales on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th March.

"The Rite of Spring" will be 2 days of countryside celebration in the Black mountains. The party takes place inside the intimate settings of Baskerville Hall and will run from Sundown to Sunrise each night.

Entertainment will come from guest DJs, psych folk cinema and silent films with live music accompaniment. DJs confirmed so far ... Gruff Rhys, Andy Votel, The Fence Collective (featuring King Creosote), The Earlies, Cherrystones, The Peth (featuring SFA members), Forecast (Carl & Jon), Pete Fowler, Sea Records, Static Caravan, Chris Fowler, Doug Shipton (Battered Ornaments), Luke Insect (Laughing Windows), Jumble Queen (Spinning Jenny), Pete Paphides, Youth and Simon Tong, Justin Spear, John Stapleton (Evil Kitty), Lol Hammond (Drum Club), Jon Hopkins, plus more to be announced soon. Witches and druids will also be on hand, alongside pagan puppet shows and holistic therapies.< br>
Tickets are priced at £60 for the weekend, with a range of special accommodation offers within Baskerville Hall, from sunken baths to bunk rooms, or in the nearby town of Hay-on-Wye.
