The star of BBC 2's 'Jimmy's Farm' Jimmy Doherty once again hosts Harvest at Jimmy's, as a four day event, from Friday 7th until Sunday 9th September 2012 at his farm, in Ipswich, Suffolk.

Line-up

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2012. The family friendly three-day celebration of the best of British food will also include a line-up of chefs, musicians, entertainers and traders.

Tickets

Early bird tickets are not currently available. An adult (aged 16 or over) weekend ticket with camping is priced at £97.50, weekend camping child (5-15 years) tickets are priced at £36, and an adult day ticket is priced at £36.50, and a child's day ticket (aged 5-15 years) is priced at £10.50. Those aged under 5 can attend for free but need to have a ticket. Campervan tickets are priced at £31.

Harvest are in the process of sorting out who will be running the event in 2012. Anyone who has bought early bird tickets for 2012 are assured by organisers that they will honoured or refunded in full.

The festival will also include a series of master class cooking demonstrations from celebrity chefs.

For kids

Having fun is imperative at Harvest so there will be lots of new and improved children's activities. Set on a real working farm, the festival has an adventure play area and a dedicated programme of kids' entertainment, including den building, face painting, animal tours, cooking lessons, craft workshops, and a butterfly house.

Parking fee

Car drivers will be asked for a £5 'green' charge per car for the weekend. (Hybrid/Electric/LPG vehicles will be exempt) This will enable Jimmy to restore the wheat field after the event, minimise carbon footprint and implement the very best traffic management team. Festival organisers are donating a percentage to their chosen charity Green Suffolk.

About the farm

Visitors to Harvest at Jimmy's also have the opportunity to take part in Nature Trails, Woodland Walks, relax in the gardens, and nose around the Farm Shop. There will also be the chance to stay the whole weekend with some fantastic boutique camping being laid on at the heart of the farm.

More information will be here when available.
