The eleventh annual Hebridean Celtic Festival will be held from Wednesday 12th of July to Saturday 15th of July.
The event is expected to attract 17,000 people over 4 days. The Levellers have been announced as headliners for the Thursday evening, Hot House Flowers will headline on the Friday and Afro Celt Sound System will headline the Saturday. Other acts include Blazin’ Fiddles, Ḍchas, Màiri Smith, and Alyth McCormack. For the full line-up details to date, click here.
Many complementary events are also hosted by community groups around Stornaway and the islands of Lewis and Harris catering for a variety of tastes both musical and otherwise. There are also workshops often given by many of the festival's performers, lectures and children's entertainment plus numerous pub sessions in Stornoway and the surrounding area.
Transport
There are good public transport links, flights available to Stornaway and a regular ferry service.
