This free festival opens as part of the second Isle Of Wight festival which features over two hundred performances around the island between the 7th and 22nd June.
The two free entry music afternoons, which will run from 12 noon to 6pm include ragtime and slide from blues guitarist, Greg Martin; songwriter singer and guitarist, Catherine Cameron Martin; guitar and harmonica from Derick: guitarist and vocalist, Dodgy Roger; R'n'B band, Soft Touch ; folk band, Last Bus Home ; Celtic harp and vocals from Merlynna; and jam sessions from musicians, Robin Whitehead, Pete D'Arby, Paul Gerrard, Andy Broad, Dan Ogus, Peetah, John Roberts, Al Dominey, Tim (guitarist and vocalist from Thirst).
The daytime events are designed to lead up to ticketed evening performances from Kelly Joe Phelps on Saturday (£10) and Ezio on Sunday night(£8). Doors for both performances open at 7.30pm.
