Kelburn Garden Party, takes place at Kelburn Castle and park, near Largs on Scotland's West coast on Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July 2012.

The Kelburn Garden Party 2012 is an intimate affair of just 500 capacity in a magical environment. The main stage is set on a natural lawn surrounded by ancient trees, and under the gaze of the surreally painted Kelburn Castle.

Line-up

The complete line-up includes The Phantom Band, Submotion Orchestra, DJ Food, Washington Irving, Yes Sir Boss, United Vibrations, The Banana Sessions, Federation of The Disco Pimp, Mioaux Mioaux, Boom Monk Ben, Bombskare, Paul McKenna Band, Matt Norris & The Moon, Adam Stearns and The Glass Animals, Rainbow Fisher, Amy Duncan, Iona Marshall, Dolphin Boy, Nightworks (DJ Set), Substance Audio, Neil Templar, Anonymi, No Globe vs Samedia vs Mad Caravan, and more. The super early bird offer has ended. Early bird tickets are priced at £55, with under 13s able to attend free. To buy tickets click here.

The site

The Garden Party is taking place in the grounds of the Kelburn Castle near Largs (40mins from Glasgow, 90mins from Edinburgh), known around the world as the site of the Graffiti Project. Entertainment will be spread over three areas, the Garden Stage, The Viewpoint Area and the Electric Cocktail Bar. Quality food, bars, chill-out areas, stalls, cinema, BBQ, woodland walks all within the site.

Other entertainment

Expect a a warm-up party on the Friday night, Dance Tent in the Tall Trees, Secret Forest of Otherworldly Cabaret & Dreams, session in the Formal Gardens, late night jam sessions, poetry by the waterfall, workshops for big & little kids, guided tours, cinema & Chill out zone, good food & drink, BBQs, cocktail bar, live art from Too Much Fun Club, pop-up tennis, suitcase theatre, stiltwalking & storytelling.

Travel

The festival site is very easy to reach. Trains go to Largs from Glasgow on a regular basis, and from Largs it is a very short and cheap taxi ride. For those coming from further afield cheap flights to Glasgow Prestwick are available at Ryanair. You can get to Largs by train or bus from the airport (around 1 hour journey). Cheap advance train tickets are available now for travel to Glasgow from around the UK.

Cars & camping

To encourage car-sharing and public transport there will be a nominal fee for vehicles. The campsite will be open from Friday afternoon to Monday morning.
