Kingston Green Fair
26-01-2009

This is a free one-day event which took place annually from 1987 until 2008 at Canbury Gardens, Kingston upon Thames at site next to the river, on the Spring Bank Holiday.
The ethos of the fair was promoting sustainable development. For instance no meat or other products derived from dead animals are allowed to be sold. It promoted the use of green technologies, and is powered only by sun wind and bicycles. There were performers to dance, sing, perform and speak.
