The Peace Festival is the UK's only remaining free Festival in the heart of Leamington provides visitors with a brilliant mix of family friendly activities, workshops, Peace Talks, entertainment, brilliant free music, and a wide range of vegetarian only food stalls and environmentally conscious stalls.

The Peace Festival weekend allows people of all ages to come and find out about ways of living life in a more harmonious way; with each other and the environment.

This includes: environmental harmony and living in cooperation with others; enabling organisations and individuals to participate during the festival weekend; raising awareness of world and local issues by giving individuals ways of becoming involved in the world around them; providing an opportunity for local crafts people to demonstrate their skills and display their crafts; promoting fair trade practices and encouraging local artists and entertainers to share their skills.

This year the festival runs over Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th June 2012. Music is one of the main attractions during the festival; it provides an opportunity to witness the fusion of musical media and different cultures providing the soundtrack to an exciting and enjoyable weekend.

Line-up

Music is interspersed with talks on peace and other global issues. This year's line-up over two entertainment areas has not yet been announced.

Talks and events

Stage Peace talks by campaign groups between acts on the Marquee & Bandstand have not yet been announced.

On site

The Peace Festival brings a taste of the alternative to the Pump Room Gardens in the form of craft and clothing stalls from around the globe and punters can sample a wide range of healthly and spicy foods.

The festival features two entertainment areas, a children's tent, a workshop tent, and over 120 stalls representing charities, activists, religious and philosophical groups, healers, pressure groups, craftspeople, and fair traders. The Festival runs from 11am - 9pm on Saturday, and 11am - 6pm Sunday.

Due to licensing there is NO CAMPING on the Festival site, please contact Leamington Tourist Information for details of nearby accommodation. Dogs are allowed on leads.
