Lounge on the Farm have also announced a 'cook off' competition where festival goers are asked to come up with a culinary treat that is a 'Kentish Heritage Recipe'. They are looking for a traditional Kent recipe that has been handed down through the generations. Anyone who has a suitable dish is asked to submit their recipes to recipe@loungeonthefarm.co.uk or in person at the Samphire Restaurant, Whitstable. TV's MasterChef Gregg Wallace will pick the winner that will gain a place on the Samphire Restuarant's menu where the winner's details will be displayed in full glory whilst they dine on a complementary dinner for four.

The fancy dress theme for this year's Lounge on the Farm is farm hands.
