Two days of DJ sets and live PAs from club and radio DJs mixed with bands, and acoustic performers on a main stage, and nine smaller venues.

The Lovebox Weekender returns to Victoria Park on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July 2009.

Headliners on Saturday are Duran Duran with special guest Mark Ronson, and N*E*R*D, and Sunday is Groove Armada, these acts will be joined by Doves, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Florence & the Machine, New York Dolls, Ladyhawke, Noah and the Whale, Gary Numan, Rokia Traore, Simian Mobile Disco, Friendly Fires, Gang Of Four, Mr Hudson, VV Brown, Dan Black, Diplo, Dananananaykroyd, Chew Lips, Swimming, Drums of Death, and The Jive Aces, with many more acts still to be announced.

DJs and electronic music acts include Lovebox regulars Horse Meat Disco, and Secretsundaze, while the 40-acre site will also feature theatre, hosedowns, gypsy steam punk and freak shows.

The Victoria Park weekender will also include thelondonpaper's extensive farmer's market, as well as a Heavenly Healing tent of massage and complimentary therapies.

Tickets are priced at £75 for both days, or £42.50 per day. Under 12s go free (ID required to gain entry) - max of 4 under 12s per adult. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

There is also a Fringe Stage which is billed as 'a bit weird' and showcases artists from the performing arts at the festival, which also offers art, food & drink, cabaret and alternative entertainment and children's activities.

Attendees are advised to use public transport as there are no parking facilities. The nearest tube is Mile End.

The venue is accessible for wheelchair users, with accessible toilets on-site. No glass bottles, no alcohol.
