This 3 day festival is held from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th August and goes under the longer title of A Camping Flight To Lowlands Paradise. It is situated in Biddinghuizen, which is a town in the Dutch province of Flevoland.
An outdoor festival it focuses on alternative music, as well as a complete programme of stand-up comedy, film, visual arts, literature and (street) theatre. The festival plays host to 55,000 attendees, several hundred performances, many bars and global restaurants, a market, hippie hangouts, campsites with showers, a radio station, a daily newspaper, and a unique currency.
There only a handful of acts so far confirmed, acts such as Asakusa Jinta, Killswitch Engage, Korpiklaani, The National, and Tunng. Plus a few comedy, theatre, debate and performance artists. There are many more names to come.
Early bird tickets (first 10,000) were priced at €122,50 (3 days festival, incl. camping with tent, parking, shuttle bus). Full priced tickets are now €132,50 or there's a combi ticket priced at €152,50 (same as above + access to the Walibi World rollercoaster theme park).
