In 2001 this was the hottest NYE ticket in town!

Ministry of Sound has announced that it will be returning to the Dome onNew Year's Eve 2002 with a fifteen-hour clubbing marathon billed as "TheGreatest Show on Earth", claiming to be a culmination of the best inbeats with pyrotechnic show to blast clubbers into the New Yearwith a bang, and a spectacle of stunts, aerobatics and circusperformances from a troupe of hand picked performers.

This year's event will feature five different arenas. Trance and House onthe Main Stage, UK Garage and R'n'B in the Smoove Arena, Drum & Bass oldand new in the World Dance Arena, US house in the Rulin' Arenaand some leftfield party action at the Bacardi BBar, combinedwith a line-up of over 50 DJ's and MC's, Ministry of Sound'Greatest Show On Earth' expects to be the clubbing climax of 2002.

Ticket holders will be able to arrive on site from 4pm and enjoy aheated bar area, full funfair, food stalls and warm up DJs. An indoor ladies powder room will also be available.

Doors to the Dome open at 7pm and the party finishes at 7am.

Note: the ticket price increases by £5 each month - buy early. £40 in October, £45 in November, full price in December plus a booking fee applies to all.

Public transport to the Dome includes North Greenwich tube stationon the Jubilee Line. Services on 31.12.02 are running until 1am.Pedestrian routes are sign-posted from the nearest train/Connex stationCarlton. The nearest DLR station is Cutty Sark. Buses from Central Londonwill also service the event.Call London Travel Information on 020 7222 1234.

Or you can arrive in style direct to The Dome's own pier (and then get VIP fast-track entrance, avoiding the queues) on one of three "Partyboats" (complete with DJs & bars) from Charing Cross Pier (£15), or by coach from Southend or Chelmsford and then from Tilbury Pier (£25).

Last year the river boat ravers were first into The Dome, just five minutes after the boat moored.
