Monmouth Festival is a series of events and entertainments taking place in a beautiful South Wales town in the Wye valley, organized by the people of Monmouth, for the people of Monmouth and using local Monmouth talent as much as possible.
The festival offers a diverse range of musical genres ranging from folk, and ska, through jazz and blues, to rock and thrash metal, and classical music, with comedy and street entertainment thrown in for good measure. All the concerts are free, mostly taking place in a news site at Blestium Street Car Park with the indoor venue this year being the function room at The Three Horseshoes in Drybridge Street.
