This independent small festival returns from Thursday 6th until Saturday 8th August 2009 at a new location Funkirk Estate, Heslaker Farm, Near Skipton, in North Yorkshire. A non-corporate event which is unsponsored, the festival keeps an independent stance, showcasing some acts from Yorkshire, the North and beyond.

Acts confirmed for this year include Sway, King Creosote, Evil Nine (live), Wild Beasts, Jamie Finlay (live), Hatcha, Iration Steppas, Thomas Truax, Remarc!, Animat, Gentleman's Dub Club, Ketaloco DJs, Jacuzzi 500, East Park Reggae Collective, Middleman, Vibronics Live, PeteBox, Kidkanevil, Kid ID, Rosie Taylor Project, and many more bands and DJs.

Once again, the festival is collaborating with the Utah Saints, and The Sugarbeat Club for the late night entertainment with Sud Dub and Exodus, to bring Dub, Dubstep and more for the floor! Plus Paul Walker, Mooqee, Tony Jarvis, Pix/Rudeboy Logic, Mark Wynn, OuiBee, and Digital Earth.

Festival goers can expect the six marquees to return hosting a variety of musical and visual talent including folk, rock, blues, electro, breaks, drum and bass, techno, house, indie, brit-pop, nu rave, old rave, hip hop, dubstep, reggae, dub, beatboxing, breakdancing, baton twirling, fire eating, plus visuals, multi media, silent disco, art installations, workshops, kid's space, play activities, comedy, cabaret, beer, and stalls.

A full weekend ticket is priced at £65 for adults, £20 for teens(13-17), Under 12s free. A family ticket is priced at £150 (2 adults + 2 teens), and a live-in vehicle ticket is priced at £10. To buy tickets, click here.

The festival offers great food, easy access by rail, car or bike, kids activities, cinema lounge screenings of Persepolis, The Age of Stupid, Awesome, I Fucking Shot That, Dub Echoes, lots of shorts and docs. Capacity limited to 2500 to keep it small and lovely.

The car park and camping area is open from 2pm on Thursday 6th August, the bar will be open from 6pm with DJ's playing and Headset disco to get the first night swinging. Full camping and amenities on site, disabled access, and child friendly.
