First organised in 1999, this festival offers a plethora of performance with over 40 acts. In 2008 the festival moved to a new venue, the Bridlington Spa Theatre and Royal Hall, on Bridlington's sea front.
In 2012 organisers reluctantly decided that they can't run the 2012 festival in Bridlington and instead looked at the feasibility of a mini-Musicport back in Whitby in the Autumn.
