Let's Rock! Edinburgh is a new one day indoor music festival located in the city of Edinburgh. The festival takes place on Saturday 30th September and last from 12 noon to 3 in the morning.
The venue is the Royal Highland Centre, and the acts confirmed to play so far include Feeder, Babyshambles, Idlewild, Futureheads, The Rakes, Kosheen, The Datsuns, and many more. For the full list of acts to date, please visit here.
There will be 33 bands over 3 indoor stages entertaining 22,000 music fans. The main acts will be spread across the 'Highland' and 'Lowland' stages while the 'Central Stage' will be showcasing a range of brand new acts.
An unsigned Scottish act will also be given the opportunity to perform at Lets Rock! Edinburgh by opening the Central Stage. A select panel will judge bands based on their myspace profiles and then select 6 acts to perform on a special live night at Cabaret Voltaire in Edinburgh in September. Scottish Citylink are the official transport provider for Let's Rock! Edinburgh. A special Shutle Bus Service will operate on the day, to and from Edinburgh City Centre and the venue.
