This event is cancelled, due to the unexpected withdrawal of one of the organisers private benefactors. The organisers would therefore like to take this opportunity to express their immense gratitude to all those who have supported this event, and if circumstances permit, the Bigfoot Dancefest will be re-launched next year in 2008.

====================

A new dance festival will take place in Loseley Park on Saturday July 28th which aims to provide family entertainment through dance in a festival atmosphere.

This is said to be Britain’s first multi-choice dance festival, with four custom-built stages and specialist performers from a huge variety of dance disciplines.

The Main World Stage will present salsa, tango, Bollywood, lindy hop, American jazz, African, Ballet and tap and on the Urban Stage, visitors can watch the latest moves from the B-Boy scene as well as some of the top Breakin’ crews in Britain.

The organisers of the festival are planning to showcase youth & community dance groups right across the South East of England and have provided a stage specifically for community groups, which is expected to showcase the budding talent of tomorrow.

There will also be a comprehensive childrens area, with drop-in creative workshops scheduled throughout the day; plus rides and attractions. A special heat of Simply Ballroom is planned, as are performances by the world Hip-Hop champions, Flawless, and last year’s festival favourites, ZooNation. Performancs take place from 1pm until 6pm and the evening extravaganza from 6.30pm until 9pm.

Car parking costs £5. Please allow plenty of time for parking.
