This is the inaugural year of the new Balham & Tooting Carnival, which is a FREE event. There will be 2 music stages but the focus is on the immediate community, so most of the bands/artists will be from the local area - expect a mix of guitar-driven music (acoustic & electric) but also some culturally specific acts (South American, Caribbean, Asian, etc).
The event will be quite small and family friendly, with a children's area, Latin dance tent, arts and crafts, food stalls, etc. There will also be a licensed area.
Note: The event does not have camping.
