Dislocation Festival is an annual exploration of experimental music and film, hosted by The School of Unthink and happening at a dedicated arts space - The Old Shop in Luton, Bedfordshire. Now in its second year the event runs from the 21st to the 22nd of August.

The line-up is Black Carrot, Same Actor, Temperatures, Wounded Knee, ElapseO, Circuit Breaker, Nitkowski, Wartgore Hellsnicker, N,Nminus, Cigars of the Pharaoh, Horselover Fat and Coldstream with a special festival closing set from Oblio.

The films for Friday include Wong Kar Wai's 'Fallen Angels' and Koen Mortier's 'Ex Drummer'. Plus short films from Phil Mulloy, David Lynch, Maya Deren, Taiki Waititi, John Smith, Adam Proctor, Ola Simonsson and Stjarne Nilsson, Jan Svankmajer, Rory/Heroines, Kurtis Hough, Siobhan Wanklyn and Holly Morris with music from "Don't Move, Play Dead!" and DJ Engram as well as a special secret finale by Cinema Transgressions.

A Festival Pass is priced at £7.50 (which includes entrance to both events, plus a festival CD). Day tickets are also available priced at £5 for either day.

The Friday film event runs from 4pm until midnight, and the All Day Music Event runs on Saturday from midday to midnight.

This years festival will also feature a themed cake/refreshment stall and the School of Unthink Second Hand CD shop, as well as featuring CDs and records by the artists performing at this years festival. Please note this event does not include camping, there are plenty of accommodation options in the area.
