Fertilizer Festival 2009 which takes place across East London between the 13th and 17th of May. The event showcases new music from Poland.

Acts confirmed include Sing Sing Penelope, Contemporary Noise Sextet, Jacaszek, Pink Freud, Baaba, Fisz, Male Instrumenty and Mitch and Mitch.

For its London festival, Fertilizer takes over three East End venues - Cargo, Rich Mix and Hoxton Hall.

Fertilizer brings an enticing array of not only music events but also films, an exhibition of Sound Postcards, and music forum to venues across its home in London's East End. Part of Polska!Year, Fertilizer features some of the most creative people in Poland today.

Founded in 2002, Fertilizer presents music from a different country each year. The fifth Fertilizer festival follows previous events featuring acts from Norway, Britain, Germany and France.
