Glooston Music Festival is a day of folk, rock, and blues held in the tiny Leicestershire village of Glooston, 6 miles from Market Harborough on Saturday 5th September 2009.
This year's line up includes Something Nasty in the Woodshed, Howard Smith and the Razors, Shameless Quo, Govannen, Lucy Ward, and When Cousins Marry.
Tickets are priced at £15 before Saturday 1st August, and then £17.50 thereafter. To buy tickets, telephone 07751 620643.
The organisers recreate how they think they remember small festivals in the 70's. That big village fete feel, think (very )early Cropredys. Other attractions include real ale, stalls, food stalls or bring your own pic nic, and camping by arrangement.
Profits from the event go to local charities. This year it will be the Leicestershire Air Ambulance.
More information will be here when available.
