Line-up
Compagnie des Quidams performing Herbert's Dream, Osadia, Pa Boom, Frolicked Puppet Theatre Company, Ramshacklicious, Plungeboom, and Artizani. Further acts will be announced in due course. Masquepony promises over 60 shows including street theatre, comedy, circus and fireworks. There will also be world and folk music and workshops that the whole family can enjoy including a digital funfair.Tickets
There will be an early bird ticket priced at £70. Tickets for Masquepony go on sale in early February and are priced at £80 for a weekend's camping for adults and £40 for children.On site
There will be an array of marquees, tents, big tops and yurts to explore across the Lakeland venue. It'’s the first UK street arts festival that will include the opportunity to camp on site. During the course of the three-day event, visitors will be able to pitch their tents at Cartmel Racecourse with views of the Lakeland fells.Getting there
From the M6 junction 36 follow signs for Barrow-in-Furness (A590). On the Meathop roundabout take the right exit and follow the brown signs for Cartmel Priory. Continue through the village to the Market Square.The festival has been organised by Kendal Arts International in partnership with Manchester International Arts who created and deliver Lakes Alive, Cumbria's programme of outdoor arts events.
Lakes Alive is the county's contribution to the Legacy Trust UK programme, which was set up to help build a lasting cultural and sporting legacy from the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.
