For those travelling by train, the nearest mainline station is Carlisle, although there are also local rail stations at Brampton (but it is a 1.5m walk from Brampton Halt into town!) or Gretna Green. If you need a taxi from a train station, Carlisle has a permanent taxi rank but you will need to pre-book a taxi at either Brampton or Gretna stations.More information will be here when available.
