Playway is a new seaside themed music festival held for the first time from Friday 16th until Sunday 18th April, at Butlins Resort, in Skegness.

Line-up

The line-up includes Alphabeat, The Futureheads, Codeine Velvet Club, Calvin Harris, Scouting For Girls, Noisettes, I Blame Coco (aka. Coco Sumner aka. Sting's daughter), Tiffany Page, Chase and Status (DJ Set), Sub Focus, MCs Rage and I.D, Plan B, Example, Daisy Dares You, Rox, Ou Est Le Swimming Pool, Darwin Deez, Alan Pownall, General Fiasco, Smash n Grab residents, and Queens of Noize. With plenty more acts still to be added to the bill.

Tickets

Tickets are priced from £150, and need to be bought in pairs or more. A standard ticket will be priced at £150, a Silver ticket £160, and Gold ticket £170.

Seaside theme

Playaways inspiration is that of a good old fashioned nostalgic seaside jaunts. Think old school British Holiday capers with a twist of contemporary chic. Expect nautical activities, 'Let's get quizzical' with The Sounds Familiar Music Quiz, The Underground Rebel Bingo Club, Swap-a-rama Razzmatazz, an on-site cinema expect themed days and sing-along-Sound of Music with a John Hughes blockbusting bonanza of a Sunday to round things off nicely! Club nights include Feeling Gloomy, Down with Dating bring their 'speed hating', and London's pop fancy dress party Club De Fromage will all be taking a trip to the seaside.

Themed rooms

As well as luxury and affordable apartments, the festival offers VIP themed rooms.

Facilities

The facilities include free parking, spacious areas for chilling and playing, nearby beach walks, a supermarket, splash pool, sauna, hydro spar, medical centre, Burger King, pizza restaurant, take-away, 3 cash machines, Ladbrokes, Odeon cinema, ten pin bowling, and many other sports bars and restaurants.
