Purbeck Folk Festival is a family friendly event set in the Purbeck Hills, in Dorset and happening from Friday 3rd until Sunday 5th September 2010. The festival's usual home, Steeple Leaze Farm, is not available to the festival in 2010, and so the event will be held at Wilkswood Farm in Langton Matravers, near Swanage, in Dorset.

Line-up

Martha Tilston will headline the Sunday afternoon concert on the main stage, other confirmed acts are Dogan Mehmet And The Deerhunters, Megson, The Monster Ceilidh Band, 6 Day Riot, Gadarene, Kim Edgar, Lizzie Nunnery, Emily Maguire, Fran Mcgillivray + Mike Burke, Jack Mcneill + Charlie Heys, Black Peak, Alex Roberts, and Tinderbox, with more still to be announced.

Tickets

Ticket prices are £55 for the weekend. Youths 10 - 17 years (at date of festival) tickets are priced £25, and children under 10 can go for free. Tickets are £5 less if purchased before 31 July. To buy tickets, click here.

Camping

Camping on the Friday and Saturday night is included in the festival price. The farm runs as a campsite all year round, if you do want to stay on Thursday or Wednesday night the price is around £5 per night per adult and £2.50 for children.

Campfires

Campfires are allowed but festival goers are asked to make sure the kids are safe and that fires are built well away from tents and vehicles. Firewood and coal is for sale cheaply from the farmhouse. Please do not take wood from the woods onsite.

More information will be here when available.
