This weekend festival of Classic Rock with a bit of everything else thrown in (Folk Rock, Ska, Punk, Blues, Prog, Jazz Rock Funk & Latin Fusion! etc).
The line-up includes:
Friday: Dr Feelgood, Eddie and the Hotrods, From Paradise to Hell, Stingray, Who's Next?, Spare Parts, Burn, Burning Reason (Campers from 9am Friday / 4pm Music Starts).
Saturday: Caravan, Hugh Cornwell (former Stranglers Fontman with his electric trio), Pete Brown and the Interoceters (Cream's Lyricist), La Vida Santana, Hazel O'Connor and The Subterraneans, Medicine Hat, Nigel Graham Blues Reaction, Jebo, Revolver, Dear Old Blighty.
Sunday:
Oysterband, Ezio, Mostly Autumn, John Otway, Cream'd, Big 10, AWT, The Restaurant, Simon Scardanelli, Lightning Jack, Elixir.
The festival opens at 4pm on Friday afternoon with the music going on till 11pm. On Saturday, the festival opens at 11am and ends around 11pm. On Sunday the gates again open at 11am, closing around 10.30pm.
There's camping on site and coin-operated shower facilities. With around 30 real ales at local pub prices, there are also craft stalls, locally-produced foods (including Indian, oriental stir-fry, pastas, salads, sandwiches, seafood, carribean, vegetarian, the traditional hog roast) and many others. There's a festival restaurant inside the village centre - breakfast in style with tables, chairs and access to proper flushing indoor toilets.
For children, there is also a 'Pets Corner' with rabbits, llamas, donkeys and horses etc. on the Animal Shelter site.
