This is a weekend festival of classic rock with a bit of everything else thrown in (folk rock, ska, punk, blues, prog, jazz rock, funk & latin fusion etc), with the entertainment taking place inside a 3,000 capacity indoor arena.
Music this year is from the likes of Wilko Johnson, Eddie and the Hotrods, The Blockheads, Mostly Autumn, John Otway, The Hamsters, plus a 30th anniversary reunion performance for Frankie Miller. Click here for details of this year's line-up so far.
This year the festival has been extended by one day so if you want, you can arrive on Thursday at noon. (If you just want to attend on Thursday - RockTech night, tickets are £3.50, but free to camping weekend ticket holders).
There's ample camping on site including purpose built toilets and and coin-operated shower facilities. With around 70 real ales as well as wine and soft drinks, there are also craft stalls, and a new record collector area plus locally-produced foods (including Indian, oriental stir-fry, pastas, salads, sandwiches, seafood, carribean, vegetarian, the traditional hog roast) and many others. There's a festival restaurant inside the village centre - breakfast in style with tables, chairs and access to proper flushing indoor toilets.
For children, there is also a 'Pets Corner' with rabbits, llamas, donkeys and horses etc. on the Animal Shelter site.
The festival opens at noon on Thursday. Weekend camping ticket holders may camp from Thursday 11am to 11am Monday 21st.
