Rox Music and Arts Festival '11

Celebrating its 21st Anniversary, this family-friendly FREE event is held on the sea front area west of the pier around the Royal Norfolk, and offers a variety of entertainment including live music on two stages, a procession, kids activities, carnival, world musicians, club stage, fringe events, music, craft and dance workshops, and other art.

This year the festival will be held for two days on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th July. The festival will culminate in one massive party for the town, for all ages and celebrating with a weekend of music, art, sound and colour.

Rox Arena
Saturday: The Hallways, Hybrid Myth, Sounditions, Constellation, Green Feet, The Orange Circus, Whimwise, The Somewhere Band, Ribbon, Stewart Collier's Tres Amigos, Blast, Flies Are Spies From Hell, Slash & Friends Tribute Band, Tales Of George, The Diamonds "Rockin' The Ages".

Sunday: The New Community Rock Choir, The Jazz Smugglers, The Racketeers, Stuart James Band, The Pea Shoots, The Move Ons, Silent Republic, The Blind Hearts, The Promise, Murdochs Crazy Eyes, The Fabulous Fug Band, and headliners The Blockheads.

Rox U Stage
Saturday: Slim Jim & The Wildcards, The Shoreham Allstars Collective, Kellys Heroes, The Suits, Beachtown Jam Factory Presents 'First Wave' featuring Stewart Ross – Selbourne Road – Robyn Joyce – M.K.P. - Kit Bradshaw – Ferre & Ashley – Rob The Hat, Them The Sky, Loyal Like Us, Hera, The Liabilities.

Facilities

Expect a fully-licensed bar, food stalls, and plenty of on-site parking.

This year the 'Rox Fringe' will provide a much wider programme for the whole family to enjoy.
